2. Hosting
The OTFIP platform is hosted on secure servers belonging to the Chadian administration or to a service provider appointed by the Ministry of Finance and Budget. For any request relating to hosting, please contact: contact@observatoire.td
3. Purpose of the platform
OTFIP is a public budget transparency initiative. Its mission is to make data on Chad's public finances accessible to the general public: the State budget, the government financial operations table (TOFE), petroleum and mining contracts, official texts and publications.
The information published is drawn from official sources and is updated regularly. However, OTFIP cannot guarantee that the data are complete or absolutely accurate at all times.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the platform (texts, data, charts, logos, layout) is the property of OTFIP or its institutional partners, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction, representation, modification or commercial exploitation without prior authorisation is prohibited.
Budget data published as open data may be freely reused for non-commercial purposes, provided the source is credited: “Source: OTFIP — observatoire.td”.
5. Limitation of liability
OTFIP endeavours to ensure that the platform is permanently available but cannot be held liable for interruptions due to maintenance operations, technical incidents or external causes. OTFIP accepts no liability for the use made of the data by third parties.
6. Hyperlinks
The platform may contain links to third-party websites (partner institutions, international organisations). OTFIP does not control these websites and accepts no liability for their content. Hyperlinks to the platform may be created provided that they are not used for commercial or misleading purposes.
7. Governing law
This legal notice is governed by Chadian law. Any dispute relating to the use of the platform falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Chad.
